About

Zigmund Aquino (he/they) is a conceptual artist working in the medium of religion. His work explores the aesthetics of spirituality, seeking to connect to the divine through visual and ritual art. Frater Zigmund is a self-initiate of the current of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and lives a quiet life of devout theurgical mysticism in the busy suburbs of New Jersey. Art is a magical method Ziggy uses as a way to focus intention and affect change in the world. Mystical Circuitry is the term they use to describe their unique drawing style, and aside from visual appeal, it can also be used to channel energy in a magical item or working. Zigmund is also an accomplished sigil-crafter, creating sigils to access the influences of the divine realms and bring them into manifestation.
